English 111 Lesson 6

Thesis:There are dangerous people on the internet waiting for young innocent children to chat with them.
The cartoon depicted on page 227 of writing aruguments shows a picture of a young girl of about the age of 5 looking into a dark door labeled Internet Chat Rooms. In the dark background are white eyes showing in the room. This makes the white eyes seem mysterious but the young girl is unware of who that person might be. The person lurking in the dark speaks to the girl to gain her confidence to not be on her guard. The young girl does not feel that it would be dangerous to talk with the young girl. She feels this way because she is not able to know the identity of the person chatting with her. Children naturally trust someone who connects with them and would not think the worst of them. This is often the beggining of a predators way of trapping a young child into meeting them. This often is going on with the parents unaware. This can often end very badly for a young innocent child.
